Immigrating from the Philippines, Vanessa was raised both in London, England and Toronto, Canada. After graduating from University of Toronto. Deciding to pursue her love of martial arts she became a competitive MuayThai fighter learning under the team of UFC featherweight and light weight double Champion Conor McGregor in SBG Dublin HQ.
