Gareth 'Slasher Trash' Morgan
Gareth Morgan was born on July 17th, 1981 in Pontypool, Wales, UK and now lives in Herefordshire, England, UK. He is best known as the creator of Slasher Trash, the world's largest social media community dedicated to the infamous slasher sub-genre.
Friday the 13th love letter 13 Fanboy (2021) marked his debut credit as executive producer on an independent feature. The Deborah Voorhees film stayed in Amazon's Horror Top 10 for weeks, narrowly missing out on the #1 spot to Scream, and later became one of the best-selling DVD releases of 2022.
Gareth followed up 13 Fanboy with Terror Trips and several new releases in 2023/24: Final Summer, Time's Up, Phantom Fun-World, Late Checkout, Murdercise, XXX-Mas, and Go Away.
His latest finished projects include stalk-and-slash comedy New Fears Eve, The Slasher Nurse, and The Boy From Below - all due for release in 2025.
In production for 2026 are The Barn Part III, The Last Sleepover, and Slasher Trash: The Ultimate Slasher Documentary, a collaboration with CreatorVC, the team behind the In Search of Darkness documentary series.
