Lisa Ojeda Mattheis was born in Pasadena, Texas to Mexican American parents. She had always dreamed of being an actress, but somehow something else always took up her time. When in High School she was very much into sports, volleyball, basketball, softball, running track, and cross country. She worked part-time at a arcade in Houston, Texas, so she could play her favorite video games like Galaga, Stargate, and Centipede.
