He spent many years on the stage as an Opera singer performing leading roles primarily at the LA Opera, and also around the country and in Europe. He enjoyed opportunities to work with directors including William Friedkin, Herbert Ross, Sir Peter Hall, John Schlesinger, and Gordon Davidson.
