Maru Takase
Maru Takase (高瀬 丸, Takase Maru), previously credited as Akiko Takase (高瀬 亜貴子, Takase Akiko), is a Japanese animator and illustrator. After the Kyoto Animation arson attack in 2019, she left the studio and the industry altogether, but returned to illustrating for Kyoto Animation in 2022 and started animating again under her real name in 2023.
