He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Animation at DePaul University, and was an M.F.A student at UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television (2016-2019). He was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. He attended Jesuit High School in Sacramento. He has one younger sister.
