Eddie De Harp
Eddie De Harp (aka Ed De Harp) is a veteran actor, writer, and Director with a career spanning several decades. Known for standout roles in films such as Requiem for a Dream (2000) starred alongside Louis Gosset Jr and Blair Underwood on Father and Son Dangerous Relations (1993) and L.A. Story (1991), Ed has gained recognition across various genres, including drama, crime, and comedy. His television work includes appearances in Class of '61 (1993), The Rape of Dr. Willis produced by Steven Spielberg, and Pickett Fences (1992-1996), Ed's career extends into the music world, where he performed as a backup singer and dancer for iconic artists such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Lionel Richie, and Natalie Cole, Olvia Newton-John. His talents also led him to Virgin Records toured in Europe, and contributed to the soundtrack to the Karate Kid film series with Ralph Machio at 17 years old. Ed signed a recording contract with Virgin Records with the assistance of TFF, for which he also toured. In addition to Broadway and National Tours, where he starred in productions like Sophisticated Ladies and Oklahoma! (revivals).
