Kara Elverson
Kara Elverson is an Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker, who recently produced Agents of Chaos (HBO, 2020) directed by Academy Award winner Alex Gibney (The Inventor, Going Clear, Taxi to the Dark Side). The four-hour miniseries examines Russian interference in the 2016 election and sounds the alarm for the American public before election day 2020. In 2018, she produced USA v Chapo: The Drug War Goes on Trial a five-part miniseries about drug kingpin El Chapo's rise to infamy. She produced Get Me Roger Stone (Netflix, 2017) an intimate portrait of Roger Stone, the Republican Party's most notorious dirty trickster and the architect of Donald Trump's presidential campaign. Before this, she produced award winning director Josephine Decker's (Shirley, Madeline's Madeline) hybrid documentary segment for Collective:Unconscious which premiered at SXSW in 2016.
