Two Boy Scouts find a buried female body in a desolate field. Irene Huss and her team begin to investigate the case. As the investigation continues, more graves are discovered, each containing a buried female body along with what appears to be a personal item. It is now clear that a horrific serial killer is rampaging in the area. The police are very puzzled and cannot find a connection between the victims other than that they are middle-aged women.
